Resource Scaling
You can upgrade your VPS resources at any time from the dashboard without reinstalling the operating system. Changes take effect after payment is confirmed.
Available Resources
The following resources can be scaled:
| Resource | Unit | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| CPU Cores | Cores | |
| RAM | MB / GB | |
| NVMe Storage | GB | |
| HDD Storage | GB | Only available on hosts that support HDD |
| Backup Slots | Slots | 2 slots included free |
| Network Speed | Mbit/s | 1 Gbit/s included free |
IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are managed separately on the Network page.
Upgrading Resources
- Open your VPS in the dashboard
- Go to the Resources tab
- Use the + and - buttons to adjust each resource
- Review the pricing summary on the right
- Hold the Upgrade button to confirm
Each resource has a minimum and maximum value determined by your host system. The minimum is always your current value — you cannot scale resources below what you already have.
Pricing
The pricing summary shows a line-item breakdown of your changes:
- Monthly price — the new recurring cost for each resource
- One-time cost — a pro-rated charge covering the difference between now and your next billing date
The one-time cost is charged immediately. Your regular subscription amount adjusts starting from the next billing cycle.
Backup slots include 2 free slots, and network speed includes the first 1 Gbit/s free. Additional capacity beyond these baselines is charged per step.
Payment and Activation
After you confirm the upgrade, you are redirected to complete payment. The dashboard shows an Upgrade pending banner while the payment is being processed. Once payment is confirmed, the new resources are applied automatically.
If you navigate away, the banner remains visible on the Resources page until the upgrade is complete.
Upgrade Only
Resource scaling supports upgrades only. You cannot reduce CPU cores, RAM, storage, or other resources below their current values. This restriction prevents data loss and ensures service stability.
If you need fewer resources, consider ordering a new VPS with the desired configuration and migrating your data.
Permissions
Only the VPS owner can modify resources. Team members with access to the server see the current resource values but cannot make changes. A lock icon and a message confirm when upgrade access is restricted.
Troubleshooting
"No changes detected" — the selected values match the current configuration. Adjust at least one resource before confirming.
"Upgrade pending" banner stays visible — payment has not been confirmed yet. Check your payment method or complete the pending payment.
"Upgrade failed" — the provider could not apply the changes. This can happen during maintenance windows. Wait a moment and try again, or contact support if the issue persists.
